Church members

We are dedicated to making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of individuals and communities.

‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ - Mathew 25:40

Love your brethren

The best way to support our church members during difficult times is to pray for them regularly.

Another way you can show care and support for them is to invite them for a meal, share uplifting bible verses and words of encouragement. If your schedule permits it, you can invite them to go for walks with them, and visit them.

As a church body, members should be concerned for their neighbor and esteem their neighbor above themselves. Supporting existing or developing ministries that cater to the hurting, including those who have experienced separation, divorce or the death of a loved one, is a way to offer them support. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” – Mark 12:31

Jesus exemplified compassion and provided hope and healing to the hurting. He didn’t judge but offered love and spiritual and physical healing. Ministering to the needy is ministering to Him.

Jesus was present during time of adversity

The Bible depicts numerous individuals who encountered trials and discovered comfort in God’s unwavering faithfulness during their most challenging moments.

Whether it’s the Israelites at the Red Sea, Elijah in the wilderness, Mary and Martha mourning Lazarus, or Peter and the apostles finding joy in imprisonment, each narrative exemplifies God’s steadfastness to His people in times of adversity.

As ambassadors of Christ, it is our duty to offer support to those experiencing trials, focusing on their well-being rather than getting caught up in the specifics of their circumstances.

In moments like these, our focus should be on nurturing hope and fostering faith, rather than passing judgment and causing additional pain.
